I love these watches from Anthropologie! At $58, they are
the perfect summer accessory!

{besties}

These photos crack me up! I'm so fortunate to have had a
baby around the same time as my bestie..which means our
boys are besties too (automatically, right?). They are only
7 weeks apart but you can see what a difference 7 weeks
makes. The second photo is the perfect depiction of their
personalities. Aiden is independent, calm and inquisitive.
Hudson is very vocal, loves to be held and has a sharp
little attitude! I think he gets that from his father ;)

I can't wait to watch these two grow!

Whenever I find some spare time, I plan to make one of these
adorable paper mobiles for H's room. It's super cute and I know

We celebrated our first family holiday this past weekend. This year's

Easter was extra special! I hope you had a wonderful holiday as well.

one month

I can't believe our little man is already one month old!
Where is the time going?

busy being a mama!

I don't have much time to blog these days. I'm busy being a mama to this
handsome little guy.

This week was his official due date. I can't believe he's already been with
us for over three weeks now! It's definitely been the most challenging few
weeks of our lives but we wouldn't trade it for the world! We adore this boy!!
How could you not?

little h's first photo session!

Our little mister had his first photo shoot this past weekend. I was over the moon
to find out that Mr. Hare had arranged a session with the VERY talented Nicola
Toon from HulaHoop Children's Photography!!

weeks early and perfect in every way!

{nursery gallery wall}

We just finished hanging a gallery wall in the nursery. We still need to

fill a couple of the frames but I thought I'd post a picture. My favourite

part is the shadow box that holds Mr. Hare's baby shirt. I actually have

pictures of him in this shirt. It's adorable and the perfect touch for our

little mister's room!

Can you believe it's made with wire hanging baskets?

{free printable}

I found this free printable over at Lay Baby Lay (a fab blog for
mamas!). Joni created this after hearing the song and reflecting
on her fears about how a new baby would change the relationship
between her and her husband. Isn't this a fear for all new mamas?
Will we still have time for one another? We've been each others #1
priority for so many years and now our #1 is this baby. These are
concerns that I've had throughout pregnancy but I know we will
both be Mr. Hare's baby..... and they will both be my boys!

I actually had this printed for Mr. Hare as a Valentine's Day card.
He liked it so much that he suggested we frame it for the nursery
(my intention all along but I love that it was 'his' idea!).

{happy valentine's day}

This might be one of my favourite days of the entire year!
For us, this year is extra special because it's our last Valentine's
Day as a family of 2. We're making it really special by celebrating
three nights in a row! Sunday night was a special Mexican feast,
prepared by my adorable hubby! Recipe here! (recipe note:
Mr. Hare added extra veggies and low fat alternatives to make
this a bit healthier).

And I had to share a few pictures from an adorable Vday party!
I'm not getting out of the house much these days but I couldn't
resist attending a Valentine's Day party hosted by our friends.
Erin (who blogs over at Erins Well) is truly the hostess with the
mostess! She pulled out all the stops to make her party super sweet!

Amazing, right? No one appreciates these details as much as I do.

Well, except for Erin!

This is the perfect Spring craft or last minute Valentine's day table arrangement!

choosing a name...

I think choosing a name for our little mister might be the most
difficult task we've ever had. Each time my husband brings up
the topic of names, my 8 + months pregnancy exhaustion kicks
in and I can't seem to think, nonetheless keep my eyes open.
Is this really just pregnancy exhaustion or am I'm trying to avoid
making a decision about something that will stick with our child
forever?! Okay, this is all a bit dramatic, I realize...BUT seriously,
choosing a name is VERY difficult!
